We created the Gear Guard security system for Rivian vehicles to give you greater peace of mind on all your adventures. On R1T, we use a combination of five cameras embedded around the truck, a braided steel cable that secures items in the bed and on the roof, and a watchful (but friendly) animated Gear Guard character in the center display to protect the things you care about while you’re away.
