Some highlights from the road, starting with our most recent stop:
Odometer: 4,291 miles
Normal, IL - For the last stop on our summer road rally to meet our amazing Rivian community between Seattle and Normal, it felt fitting to bring the spirit of all that community to our team at the plant in Normal. We pulled up in front of the plant and served up tailgate popcorn, cold drinks and stories from the road. We showed the portraits of each Rivian owner with their trucks and SUVs we took along the way to the people who helped build those vehicles. 📷 ⚡
Our team in Normal particularly enjoyed seeing the faces of all the people out there loving and using their vehicles.

St. Louis, MO - The Gateway Rivian Club organized a very special meetup at the Shaw Nature Reserve outside St. Louis, where we got to explore some beautiful terrain together and learn about the preserve’s work to remove invasive plants and restore native species to 2,441-acres of woodlands, prairie and wetlands. 🌱⚡
We loved our educational walk in the woods with the Gateway Rivian Club and experts from the Shaw Nature Reserve.
Odometer: 3,874 miles
Kansas City, MO - Such warmth and hospitality from the Kansas City Rivian Club, who teamed up with the local Rivian Service Center to host coffee and donuts followed by an electric caravan to Kill Creek Park. The party was just getting going when an unexpected summer thunderstorm rolled in, but even that couldn’t keep the everyone from sticking around to enjoy the good company, the beauty of the place and even dancing a little in the rain. ⛈️⚡
The Kansas City Rivian community didn't let a little rain get in the way of a great gathering!
Odometer: 3,269 miles
Denver, CO - In Colorado we had the privilege of joining the Rocky Mountain Rivian Club for not one but two amazing community events in one weekend. On Saturday, two dozen trucks and SUVs took on the moderately difficult Geneva Creek Trail, splitting into groups to make the climb into the heart of the Rocky Mountains and reassembling at the trail’s end for spectacular views and a picnic lunch together next to a glacier above the tree line. We loved seeing the way club members with off-road expertise coached first-time and less experienced drivers, guiding and cheering them on via a radio in each vehicle. The following day, a whopping 53 Rivian vehicles met up at the Rivian Adventure Network fast-charging site in Broomfield for beverages, snacks and great conversation. Thank you to our Colorado community for the adventures! ⚡⛰️
Thanks for the Rocky Mountain highs and the fun and record-setting meetup at the Rivian Adventure Network charging site, Colorado community!

Grand Junction, CO - We brought coffee and donuts to share while we charged at the new Rivian Adventure Network site in Grand Junction, excellently situated near lots of amenities off I-70. We had the chance to visit with some owners, as well as some curious locals who stopped by to learn more.
A Rivian team member joined us for the fun in Grand Junction and took the opportunity to charge before heading out.
Odometer: 2,913 miles
Moab, UT - We met up with Utahn and R1T owner and photographer Mylo Fowler and his family for some quad-motor off-roading just outside Moab. We got to use almost every Rivian Drive Mode as we crawled rocks and navigated sand washes along the way, and after a full and exhilarating day on the trail, we returned to Ulum by Under Canvas for a fun night of dinner and s’mores under the stars. “My truck is vital for my career and providing for my family,” Mylo said. “The R1T is absolutely incredible for everything I do.” ⚡🙌
Mylo has had his R1T for a year and has already put nearly 50,000 miles on it, traveling all over Canada and the Western United States for both family trips and photography assignments.

Salt Lake City, UT - After a short break to recharge human batteries, our road trip resumed in Salt Lake City with a Sunday drive. Utah, wow! What an amazing turnout, and what a singular experience to drive the breathtaking Alpine Scenic Highway – almost three dozen trucks and SUVs winding their way through the mountains together, but still so quiet you could hear every bird, stream and quaking aspen. Thank you for the warm and wonderful hangout – it was great to meet so many Rivian families and to hear about your upcoming road trips and adventures. ⛰️⚡️
Thanks for coming out to spend a Sunday together, Utah Rivian community -- we loved every moment of the epic electric caravan through the mountains and our high-altitude hangout afterwards.

Las Vegas, NV - We ended the first leg of our road trip with a sunset drive through Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area with the Las Vegas Rivian community. At the end of the drive, we gathered for cold beverages, tailgate popcorn and getting to know each other. After the sun set behind the red rocks, just before everyone parted ways, someone noticed the full moon was rising right behind someone’s Limestone R1T, a scene that generated plenty of “ooohhhs” and “ahhhs” and camera shutter clicks from the whole group. Thank you for a fun and picturesque evening, Las Vegas! And thanks to Bradley and Bee, Rivian team members based in Las Vegas, for leading the beautiful electric caravan through the desert.⚡🙏
Gorgeous drive, cute dogs, sweet dance moves, great conversation, a stunning sunset, tailgate snacks – the super fun and friendly Las Vegas Rivian community knows how to have a good time.

Joshua Tree, CA - Next we headed for Palm Springs, where temperatures were well over 100 degrees in the shade. But the Coachella Valley Rivian Club helped us beat the Mojave heat with great company and frosty popsicles shared from one couple’s back-seat cooler powered by the 12-volt plug in their gear tunnel. Thanks for the frozen treats and for sharing stories of your road trips and camping adventures! ⚡☀️
We stopped for a charge in Palm Springs near Joshua Tree National Park and did not expect to run into one particular owner, Rivian's Head of Software, Wassym Bensaid! Several members of the Coachella Valley Rivian Club came to our meetup at the Palm Springs Air Museum straight from donating blood at a nearby blood drive.
Odometer: 1,902 miles
Pasadena, CA - We met for coffee and donuts with the San Gabriel Rivian Club near the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, where we saw all kinds of cool accessories and mods and heard lots of great Rivian life stories. One family went camping just a couple of days after taking delivery of their R1S and pulled over to help someone on the side of the road with a flat tire – it was coincidentally a friend, who then watched with amazement as they used the air compressor in their new SUV to help fix the tire. Thank you for the warm welcome and great conversations, Pasadena! ⚡🛞
We beat the southern California heat with cold brew and the best crew from the San Gabriel Rivian Club.
Odometer: 1,414 miles
Truckee, CA - Our drive east into Truckee, California, was made even better by a meetup with the Sierra Nevada Rivian Club at the Rivian Adventure Network charging site in town. Thanks for the extra company - and extra coffee - while we charged! Time to head down the road for a beautiful drive and hang with everyone around Donner Lake. ⚡🏔
Thank you Sierra Nevada Rivian Club for scrambling around with us on the rocks and in the woods below the still-snow-capped mountains. We can’t wait to come back and stay longer!
Odometer: 1,314 miles
Sacramento, CA - Thank you NorCal Rivian Group for helping us continue the California adventure with early-morning coffee and donuts at our DC fast chargers in Sacramento! What a great way to start the day. To all the preorder holders who also stopped by, the team is working hard to build your vehicles and deliver them as soon as possible! Off to Mammoth. ⚡ 🍩
Morning hang with the NorCal crew. We loved hearing about all the different ways they are using and customizing their vehicles for on-road, off-road and even car show adventures. We saw so many cool mods and customizations on the R1S and R1T in Sacramento! So great meeting everyone and thanks for the cool NorCal Rivian Group t-shirts!
Odometer: 1,226 miles
San Francisco, CA - What an incredible meetup with the Bay Area Rivian Club atop Hawk Hill in Marin County! Even more epic? A caravan of Rivians in almost every color driving across the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and into Crissy Field. Thanks to our wildly creative and welcoming San Francisco community for the quality hang! ⚡🫶
We were so excited to gather with the Bay Area Rivian Club at Crissy Field for an afternoon of music, hot chocolate, snacks, and best of all, connection. Shout out to the owner who shared his camp speaker and tunes during our group hang!
Odometer: 1,001 miles
Fortuna, CA - We can't thank Josh Quintal, founder of the Redwood Rivian Club, and his family enough for meeting us at the Fortuna Rivian Adventure Network charging site before taking us on an awe-inspiring drive along Avenue of the Giants. You can't go wrong with a neighborhood that includes miles of rugged coastline and some of the world's tallest trees. Thank you for the hospitality, Josh and family! ⚡🌲
Thank you, Josh, for showing us some of your favorite hiking and picnic spots in the area! We loved driving with the windows down, winding nearly silently through the ancient redwoods.

Bend, OR - The Central Oregon Rivian Club knows how to pick a setting for a meetup. Smith Rock State Park was a stunning backdrop for great turnout from this community! Thank you for a beautiful time in Bend and a bit of a throwback with one of our most passionate owners at the last Blockbuster on the planet. ⚡📼
A small group of folks showed us a short loop hike where we could take in the full majesty of Smith Rock and the Crooked River winding below it. Thank you to all the members of the Central Oregon Rivian Club, including R1T owner, Patrick, who arrived in the parking lot of Blockbuster as we were exiting. We had a nice visit and got to add our signatures to the many others on the underside of his hood.

Portland, OR - Thank you Portland Rivian Club for meeting us in the parking lot of the Portland Women’s Forum State Scenic Viewpoint looking out over the Columbia River Gorge! We were blown away by the number of R1s (and humans and dogs) who showed up. ⚡🍿
We got to try our tailgate popper for the first time while overlooking the beautiful Columbia River Gorge and learned more about the summer camping trips the Portland crew had planned! We can't wait to serve you some tailgate popcorn and hear about everyone's future plans out on the road!

Seattle and Forks, WA - Seattle’s gorgeous Seward Park on the shore of Lake Washington was the perfect place to start the road trip. Thank you to the over 42 Rivian owners from the Emerald City Rivian Club who met us there for coffee, donuts and the best conversation. We're off to catch the ferry to the Olympic Peninsula to camp overnight in Forks with a smaller group from the Seattle meetup. Thanks again to our Seattle-area community for an incredible kick off to our road trip! ⚡⛺
A great kick off in Seattle with our community (and their pups!). We loved hearing all your stories around the campfire, including one couple who used their R1T to help power their home in a storm! Before heading out of Forks, we gathered for a group photo we designated a “truckie” – a selfie captured by an owner’s R1S tailgate camera.
