We’re bringing the Rivian experience to even more people in Southeast Florida with the opening of our second space in the Miami area, located at Mary Brickell Village. Spanning 4,000 square feet, it’s a place to explore our vehicles, connect with our local team, and experience how our physical spaces tell Rivian’s story. Every detail—from natural materials to art and furnishings in green and blue tones inspired by Miami’s coastal and urban landscape—make it feel warm, inviting, and connected to the community around it. To mark the grand opening, the space is showcasing an exclusive, custom-designed Rivian Tri-Motor R1S that pays tribute to Miami’s vibrant design heritage and its lasting impact on pop culture.
Inspired by Miami’s design flair and unmistakable energy, this special vehicle was designed to be as inviting and joyful as the city itself. The vehicle’s vibrant aesthetic is a direct nod to the 1980s, with a dynamic teal and pink color palette calling to mind 80s pop culture. This special Tri-Motor R1S features design elements like a blue side stripe body detail and pink tow hooks and headrest inserts, that nod to Miami’s Art Deco legacy. This design captures the spirit of our brand—celebrating creativity and nostalgia in a way that feels both fresh and uniquely Rivian. Rivian’s design team has looked to 1980s pop culture for inspiration before. Just last year during Halloween, we introduced Car Costumes inspired by iconic and classic vehicles from 1980s hits Knight Rider and Back to the Future, with Rivian vehicles adopting characteristics from the iconic inspirations.
That spirit of exploration and joy is part of Rivian’s DNA; whether we’re experimenting with color, taking cues from the natural world, or designing spaces that connect people to our vehicles in ways that feel effortless and human. Opening in Brickell is just the start, and it hints at how we’ll continue to push design, listen to our community, and celebrate creativity and color when we return to Miami during Art Basel later this year.
