Rivian's growing fleet of mobile service vehicles is scaling alongside its network of Service Centers. By the end of the year, there will be more than 200 Rivian Service Vans and nearly 100 R1Ts in the field.
These vehicles provide maintenance, repair, vehicle-to-vehicle charging and a variety of other mobile service needs for more than 35,000 Rivian vehicles.
The RSV is built on Rivian's all-electric commercial vehicle platform at the Normal, IL plant and then upfit with the equipment our service technicians need to perform most service and repairs in the field.
Each van is fit with a wheel balancer, automated tire changer, air compressor, hydraulic jack and stands, and modular shelving with the parts and tools to complete 80 percent of all labor codes. Each van also has a dedicated 240V outlet to provide vehicle-to-vehicle charging.
The vans are then finished with multiple unique exterior graphics from the Studio team. Keep an eye out for these vans hitting the road in the coming weeks, and for new graphical themes coming soon.
