Rivian celebrates Friends & Family Day at the plant

This weekend, we gathered for Rivian's annual Friends & Family Day at our plant in Normal, Illinois. Thousands of employees and their loved ones attended to relax, connect, and celebrate the tremendous work happening at our plant.

The day was packed with fun activities and delicious treats — including bounce houses, rock climbing, a dunk tank, hay rack rides, friendship bracelets, 500 pounds of fruit salad and even a real live kangaroo! We can't wait to see you at our next event.

Our employee communications and experience team, with help from 130 incredible volunteers and multiple local businesses, organized an unforgettable event. Attendees had the chance to cruise the catwalks inside the plant and explore our lineup of vehicles, including the new R2 and R3X. It was an exciting moment for our employees, who will soon be supporting production of the R2, right here in Normal.
