Today, our preorder and reservation holders received news about the delivery status of their R1T and R1S orders. The majority of customers with a configured vehicle were notified that their delivery is on time.
More than 10% of those waiting on their configuration received word that they can expect to take delivery earlier than previously communicated. Less than 5% will see a delivery window estimate delay, with many of those delays due to vehicle reconfigurations or a change in delivery address. The majority of those hearing of a delay will be delayed by less than 2 months. And with production continuing to ramp, we’re excited to announce that nearly 10,000 customers are receiving a delivery window for the first time today.
