We’re excited to introduce a new way to reserve a Rivian online.

Purchasing a vehicle is a big decision, and we want to be sure you have as much clarity and information as possible as you consider your choices. Our new reservation system now offers more insight into available options and configurations as you think about what vehicle to buy.

Here’s how it works.

Play.

Our online studio lets you play with the latest available options for an R1T or R1S, with current estimated prices. Visualize different models with different choices including battery pack, exterior paint color, wheels, accessories and more. The selections you make in the studio won’t be saved, but you’ll get a good feel for what you like. There’s no commitment to experiment all you want.

Make a Reservation.

Whenever you’re ready to move forward, submit your refundable deposit of $1,000 ($1,500 CAD) to become a reservation holder in our system. (Don’t worry – you can keep experimenting with models and options in the studio as your reservation moves closer towards our invitation to configure).

Configure and Confirm.

You’ll hear from us as soon we’re ready for you to configure your actual R1T or R1S in the configurator, with available options and current prices. When you confirm your configuration, that's our cue to work on connecting you with your Rivian Guide, who will support you through the final steps of your purchase.

Why the Change?

By saving your configuration closer to your estimated delivery date, your available options and pricing are more likely to be accurate and less likely to change.

Leading up to delivery day, you’ll receive regular communications from us regarding estimated delivery timing, charging, software evolution, EV lifestyle education and more. And your Guide will be there to help you every step of the way.
