Helping support Rapha’s Yomp Rally

In the spirit of our shared love for responsible outdoor adventure, Rivian supported Rapha’s inaugural Yomp Rally – a grueling 375+ mile, mixed terrain bikepacking event from Santa Barbara to Santa Monica, CA.

Many parts of the course were accessible only to bikes and off-road vehicles, so several R1Ts and an R1S went to work helping the Rapha team drop water, share food, support riders and move bikes and gear.

Riders took off into the unknown to complete the course at their own pace over five days -- riding through mud, snow, rain and dark of night -- all while respecting the land and looking out for each other. Using our electric vehicles helped the Rapha team keep their environmental impact low and decreased riders’ exposure to tailpipe emissions and the disruptive sound of roaring engines in the backcountry.

Some of the bikes and equipment caught a ride on our new Rivian Tailgate Pad, which RJ highlighted last week — coming to our Gear Shop this summer.
